Best birding trip that I have been on by far! Excellent planning, good birding locations and a good vibe. Benny brings such energy, passion, deep insight about people and nature, fun, laughter,, and caring to his tours. The local guide, Fernando, was extraordinary, with such knowledge of not just the birds, but the other flora and fauna as well. He shared generously about Brazilian culture and really kept the tour well-organized with local providers. Well done. I look forward to traveling with Benny again!

Great 12 day trip. Brazil is a beautiful, modern country. We scored 379 species of which 216 were new lifers for me. Fellow birders on the trip were excellent travel companions. And, as usual, Benny’s great sense of humour made for a very fun trip.

After spending time in the NW Andes of Ecuador, our BIJS tour took us to the Amazon where we stayed the whole time at the Sani Lodge, which is run by the indigenous Sani community. It's a very well designed place with a staff committed to making your stay as comfortable and easy as possible. Meals are buffet style with lots of choices and the bedrooms provide fans and mosquito netting around the bed, though the bugs weren't that bad at all. As for the birding, it's awesome. Trips combine hiking jungle trails and exploring islands along the Napo with boat trips through the river channels. In addition to our BIJS guide Nelson Apolo we also enjoyed the skills of Sani guide Marcelo. Both guides are simply next-level when it comes to song identification and tracking birds. Add to that the animals, butterflies and you can't go wrong. Highly recommended.

Carolee and I loved this trip. Great birds and the lodgings were comfortable. Our guide Nelson Apolo was the very best. A generous person who did what he could to help us find the birds as well as share his incredible knowledge about the surrounding area. It was a tremendous treat to be part of such an iconic landscape, and encounter the Andea wildlife in their element. Andean Condors, Andean Ibis, Andean Gulls, Culpeo and much more.

The Trinidad and Tobago Birding trip was extremely well planned, with extraordinary birding, excellent guides who were both fun and knowledgeable, wonderful and unique lodgings, the food was an unexpected treat. Seeing the Leather Back Turtles coming up to lay eggs and snorkeling added variety to the birding. Watching the Scarlet Ibsis fly in at sunset over the Flamingoes was a moment I'll treasure forever.
