From massive flights of Sandhill Cranes, geese, swans, ibis, and ducks along the Pacific Flyway to the estuaries of Monterey Bay and dramatic cliffs and forests of Big Sur, this small-group extension showcases an incredible variety of habitats and winter birdlife.
With 125+ species possible, we’ll search for specialties including Tundra Swan, Snow and Ross’s Geese, Sandhill Crane, Yellow-billed Magpie, Tricolored Blackbird, Pacific Wren, Brant, Common Murre, Black Oystercatcher, and California Condor, while enjoying five days of expertly guided birding through some of the most beautiful landscapes on the California coast.
